Proposition KK

This thread is hilarious.

But also this form of taxation makes no sense to me. I can't get behind taxing everyone for certain things but only taxing certain groups for other things. I'm taxed for the broncos stadiums and the local pool but will never use either. But since i buy ammo for subsistence i have to fund remedial programs that the entire society creates?

Anyone have any good ammo shop recommendations in Cheyenne?

Somebody once told me their favorite short story was the one about all the French war heroes. And he followed up to say that it was his favorite because of how short it is, because he didn’t know how to read, and there was nothing in it.

Please find a lawyer thay agrees and go after the NFA 😅
At least the NFA is limited to guns/suppressors that are arguably not necessary to defend freedom. The CO (and CA?) tax are on ALL guns and ammo. And yes, so is P-R, which is unfortunate, if it gets thrown out too.

Your right to bear arms isn't being taxed. Just the transaction when you purchase it.

You do not have a right to purchase anything.
Not to nitpick at details or anything, but this my thought as well. They’re not taxing simple ownership.

Though, if one wanted to own a bolt gun in NYC, NYPD requires that they purchase a permit to even possess the item, not just to purchase one. That would be an example of the right to simply possess having a fee associated with it. I’m sure there’s others.

To my knowledge, the French were the only ones willing to separate the heads from their heads of state when they became totalitarian.
American revolutionaries seeing press reports of French Royalist heads rolling: “Perhaps we should’ve gone bigger than just chucking tea in the harbor.”

Also, their national anthem is brutal, “Let the impure blood [of our enemies] water our furrows.” Yikes.
