My Model 70 in .325 wsm. Started as a Super Grade, but was too pretty to hunt with. Pulled the factory stock and dropped it in a laminate. Still pretty sexy in my eyes.View attachment 149822
I love the look of the laminates too! They are pretty sharp. You could find someone to checker that for you and spruce it up just a touch and it wouldn't be so slick in the hands. My buddy did that to his Model 70. 300 WSM in the same brown tones.Damn! Beautiful. Some really nice modern laminated stocks out there.
I’ve thought the same thing. The wrist needs trimmed down a little too.I love the look of the laminates too! They are pretty sharp. His was done by a woman who did checkering for Cooper Arms in Stevensville MT. She no longer works there but if you contact Cooper, some of the checkering experts likely do projects on the side too. I be they could help you out!! I do not know about taking some out of the wrist area though. different skill set. You could ask though.I’ve thought the same thing. Got any suggestions as to who to sent it to?
As long as I’ve had the 270 it should but I do really love my 7mm08. I call the .270 old reliable because through all the guns I’ve had she’s never left or let me down. And never will leave it was my first big game rifle. So shouldn’t your screen name be 270mo?
Bonus points for leather sling and glossy scope on glossy blued barrel/glossy stock.Gald I'm not the only one who has some love for the Remingtons.
