I would think this. Then again I might lean to the 32 Spec as I've never had one or even shot one and think it's a cool old cartridge. I might be wrong but maybe then I'd know why my dad didn't use it! Do you normally hunt with lever action rifles?

I’m with Don on this one. A .32 Special is pretty unique.

The .30/.30 would be my choice if your dad used it.

I actually have one on the way that belonged to my great uncle and now my uncle. My uncle told me he had decided to sell it which is somewhat baffling to me, but he gave me first crack at it. I already have one that was my first deer rifle that is beat to hell cosmetically but still functions fine. The more the merrier.

Still own every firearm I have ever owned. My son and future grandkids should be well stocked when I give up the ghost.
