San Carlos Turkey

Any one have any experience hunting the San Carlos Reservation for turkeys? Looking at venturing west this season and this popped up as an option. Thanks

Heard they went to a draw this spring. Sure needed it, because I hunted there last spring and opening weekend was ridiculous with hunters. There were hunters from all across the nation there. Talked to several of them, trying to kill a turkey in 49 states.

Yes it does appear they went to a draw. I put in for it so I guess we will see what happens.

They're everywhere on San Carlos. Hunt them like anywhere else in Az, keep calling and moving on ridges until you locate them. Bring fishing poles, hit the Black River for smallies after your tag is filled.
