This season has been very meaningful for me. From hunting for the first time in 8 years to getting to build a relationship with my daughters significant other to time enjoying the reversal of roles with my pops. A season to reflect on what we are blessed with and forget about that which ails us. No trophy horns, but memories that will last. A couple of days in the WY desert recently. Dad has no interest in horns as they don't eat well. What a truly special experience though.

Dad is 83 and life is full of uncertainties. It's moments like this that remind us of the importance of connection and the joy of shared memories. Taking the time to be present with loved ones, especially as they age, is invaluable. The shift in roles can be profound, but it's beautiful to see how the bonds evolve over time. Cherishing weekends like this together will create lasting memories that we will both hold dear. What a awesome tribute to my relationship my pops. What a perfect hunt.

Such a great experience for you and your Pops.
I think we all hope that our children will be there when the role reversal happens. Good on you for doing that for him.

Great write-up and congrats to you and your pops! For a guy who doesn't have interest in horns, he sure shot a great bull!
