Pole barn questions

I never poured concrete in the winter, just built on it. Framing in winter.
Waiting now for ground to thaw to dig column footers out. Frost heave changes ...
 
Thanks for all the thoughts (especially @seeth07). At this point, I am going to (a) write up a list of concerns regarding defects that may play into future warranty claims and mail to the builder; (b) use a combination of torpedo heater and propane torch to melt and squeegee off the layer of ice proactively; and (c) build a few rings of 2x6 horizontal "ribbing" at key heights to give protection without creating the challenges of trapped airspace.
 
I would think a large fan would be useful as it begins to melt. Keep some semi-dry air moving.
