Your an extravagant cook...what's your take on the Himalayan salt block? Any experiences?
I’ve researched it, and it seems to have very mixed reviews. Most people say it really doesn’t impart any salt flavor to what you cook on it. I’ve got a soapstone for my Kamado for when I want to do a flat surface sear. So I’ve not yet seen a use for the salt block that the soapstone doesn’t already cover.

Guy I know does a catering business and swears by it.
