I read your description when Dave quoted you before I saw the picture. I was skeptical after the description. That looks a lot better than it sounded. I’d give it a try.

Side note: Does anyone else think Lablatt’s tastes better in states that border Canada and then even better in Canada?

Maybe this will give me good mojo for turkey season this year....I still can't get a good food pic with my phone, but a $.50 clearance walmart plastic bowl holds just as much food and it tastes just as good as a fancy pic worthy plate

What did you put in the dry rub? I used Hank Shaw’s recipe last time I made it, and it was a bit too much coriander for my taste.

1 TBSP Salt, 2 TBSP Coriander, and 3 TBSP black pepper. It was a recipe I found online on another forum. I did think the ratio of the pepper was a little much, but not crazy overpowering.

Worst plated picture ever but these were lamb chops. We are in beef country and I don’t think I have ever had them but a neighbor raised some so we got one. Pretty damned good! Much better than expected. Supplemented with our pork!

I love Idaho lamb chops. Keep them rare and rosemary and garlic do the job!
