Just curious how others handle planning hunts with friends and family. Do you coordinate closely to build points so everyone in the group has the same tag when you go on the hunt or, do you just build points in various places and occasionally apply as a group when it seems like it would work out well? Maybe some always apply as single applicants and let the chips fall as they may?

I'm sure there are 100 ways to handle it but, I like to gain perspective from others. I love to plan but it seems being flexible is just as important. My bottom line is making sure I'm on the mountain every year...one way or the other....

Best wishes to everyone this season!

For out of state hunts we apply/buy points together and all get tags. I’ve found that if someone doesn’t have a tag that year it’s easier for them to back out.

My group is very small, only my brother, my son and myself. We all apply separately to have a little more chance at drawing and if one draws a tag we all go.
