THIS but lose the long johns and the softshell if the weather is nice. make sure to have a lightweight rain jacket though. last year was in that snow storm first week and the puffy and rain jacket worked well. i think the soft shell can be added weight. I would def also have rain pants and gaiters and if you think your boots are not waterproof don't hesitate to get new ones and break them in quick. might not need the gaiters and rain pants every day but when you need them they are worth there weight in gold. Also, trekking poles. think about rain, then snow, then melt and how steep the hills/mountains are. cant hike anywhere in that without themI have absolutely no idea what all those items are, but here is the basic gist of what I usually take for a backpacking archery hunt:
Light weight to midweight pants
Lightweight longjohns
Two pairs wool socks
light weight base layer quarter zip
Midweight pull over
Puffy coat
Soft shell
Raingear top and bottom
Depending on how late in the season I’m going, I may substitute the light weight long johns for a Midway, and maybe throw in a vest as well. Don’t forget a lightweight beanie and some lightweight gloves.
