PETA and HSUS

I think I feel a SONG coming on !!!!!!! :D

What ? you killing them humainly now ? I thought you used the 300 mag....... :p

There's a special appeal to juicing a covey of gophers with a high velocity V-Max bullet, but the same can be said for sitting back and turning a 4yr old loose on one with a hammer. He's not as efficient and it takes him more swings to finish off a gopher than I would to build a birdhouse.

LMAO!!!!! That is really funny
He's not as efficient and it takes him more swings to finish off a gopher than I would to build a birdhouse.
Snicker snicker... :D:D:D

Oh yeah, nothing like a gopher patch, a kid, and a handful of traps to keep the tradition alive....

Nice pictures.

He does prefer the "upside down trick" .. don't have to use a hammer that way (see gopher hanging on the left).

When we drove out to check the traps the first time, I told him gophers are smart and the traps can look scary to them. They might not touch them off.

He laughed and said "I don't think gophers are very smart and I bet we tricked them."

Got it on video when he checked them, better than Christmas.

Awesome pics. You're definitely raising him right. You'll probably need to add on to your house at some point if he starts whacking critters like you do.

Greenhorn, after looking at those pictures once again....

If you cant afford to get the boy a better sweatshirt than that...let me know.

Bobcats???? You cant be serious...

It wasn't the sweatshirt that made me wonder.. it was the Purple gloves.... If he starts painting himself up like a Chick like his DAD did/does then ... :p

I think he's going to be a Bobcat, just like his dad and grandpa. Can't convince him to wear pink nomatter what, but he's okay with those purple gloves.

cjcj, Hillbilly school was great, did you get a GED?

I guess that school in bozeman is OK......Hey i made it to 4th grade... even though i was 19 at the time... nobody messed with me though[ one bad dude] biggest in my class.

Greenhorn,

That will actually be pretty cool if he does go to MSU...3 generations of MSU grads and all that.

But, as a proper UM grad...you never pass up a shot at a bobcat...

Missoula, MT-----Montana's worst air disaster occurred when a small two-seater Cessna 150 plane, piloted by two University of Montana students, crashed into a cemetery earlier today in Missoula.

Grizzly search and rescue workers have recovered 300 bodies so far and expect the number to climb as digging continues into the evening. The pilot and co-pilot survived and are helping in the recovery efforts.

Hangar- The part you forgot to mention is the students recently transferred from Boise State (Is Boise a State?) University. The searchers were brought in from Bozeman.

Matt, the only way to confirm that is to count how many of the searchers were carrying picket signs and had dreadlocks. We all know what school that crowd is from and it ain't MSU.

Greenhorn- If you look at the history of the University system in Montana, the original Montana State University was in Missoula. It later changed it's name to University of Montana. I would have to agree, quite a few odd people go to U of M. Strange thing though, the last time I was in Bozeman (for an Eagle's meeting), there was a gay and lesbian rally going on. I never thought MSU would ever have something like that. I think Bozeman is changing more and more (and not for the better).
