Better question for @mtmuley Or @Gerald Martin might have a moisture issue from the backside...No. Paint was peeling along joints. In summer I retaped and put on joint compound, sanded, primed, and painted. And this…sure it was a half-asses job because it was a garage and in the ceiling but 6 months?

If I was single I’d have mirrors on my ceiling.Screw the paint. Girly posters and a staple gun. You're welcome.

Been a long week of fixing stuff that shouldn’t be broke… my I offer you a contact to look at your job?
I’m presently trying to ignore the obvious. Please don’t ruin it with reasonable ideas.Better question for @mtmuley Or @Gerald Martin might have a moisture issue from the backside...
We honeymoon'd across the river from you and they had those. Needless to say we never looked up (at least I sure as hell didn't) However then entire time I was waiting to knock one off the ceiling and fall and kill me.If I was single I’d have mirrors on my ceiling.
I screenshot this for next time we argue policy/ politics. Totally kidding, all in fun.I’m presently trying to ignore the obvious. Please don’t ruin it with reasonable ideas.
I need to start with 4in more of insulation. Moisture and temperature change is the problem. But agree, Kilz is the best bet for primer. But it can only do so much.I screenshot this for next time we argue policy/ politics. Totally kidding, all in fun.
You may want to try visqueen. Again consult someone more experienced than me. I just wing shit.I need to start with 4in more of insulation. Moisture and temperature change is the problem. But agree, Kilz is the best bet for primer. But it can only do so much.
At that point, it's probably going to be easier to remove the damage and start over. Check the drywall. It will be "granular" if water damaged. mtmuleyNo. Paint was peeling along joints. Me at seeing Dougie’s commodeDidn't we just cover stuff like this on another thread? I'm with @Nick87, that pic gives me heartburn-peeling ceiling, boob light in the bathroom, no exhaust fan, the crown moulding, and the brown hotel tile. All of it needs redone. All. Of. It.
Thanks. Hope I can find some. Selection is not great here.Maybe someone has a better suggestion which I'm all ears, but but I've found Kilz to be the best primer in this or any situation really, worth the $.
"Camode"? What's that, a Mossy Oak toilet?
There's latex and oil based depending on what your using It for.Thanks. Hope I can find some. Selection is not great here.
When in IL…"Camode"? What's that, a Mossy Oak toilet?
