LOL I am the other Oregon Chris, just not OregonChris, but Chris from Oregon and we just sold our home in what it known as the Peoples Socialist Republic of W. Oregon or the Urban Campers capitol of the world. We are outta this crap hole. House closes this week. Bought a house in W. Idaho.

BUT, I am still an Oregonian as still have my house in Eastern Oregon and will split time. Its actually much closer to my place in E Oregon from Idaho than W Oregon.

We were in Boise last week for medical. The receptionist told us that that region was growing at the rate of 1000 people per day.

Hunting wasn't the reason, but we left Oregon never to return six and a half years ago. Thought I'd be buried there, loved it. But the politics went far too haywire, and we just couldn't do it. Interviewed Boise for retirement, growing too fast. Likely Montana for us, but other parts of ID and WY are attractive, too.
