Who’s tried this out yet? Why can’t I find Wyoming special or random draw odds?

I admittedly haven't spent much time on it but I was having the same issue It was definitely not intuitive to find anything, also, the filters didn't appear to work correctly, I had male only selected and it was giving me all the units that I could draw cow tags in.

Has anyone actually found the WY special or random odds? Seems like something, with the app period opening tomorrow, that a platform like this would have ready.

With an OnX subscription in hand, I’m trying to hold off $150 to GoHunt. I mean, I have standards, you know? $150 is a Wyoming sheep point Ill never get to use, after all.

I played with it this week too. 🗑 couldn't filter out private and public land tags in co, couldn't figure out random odds in wyo.
For co I actually find cpw excel sheets more intuitive.
I hope they fix it soon, at the moment it's embarrassing and disconnected with the user of them to release this as a replacement to toprut or compete with gohunt

...if I was gohunt I'd run their best promo right now and take over the market

My nerd nerve has been struck hard enough that I’d probably bite. Last year’s OnX/toprut debacle with MT sheep/goat odds offended my dork senses, but odds are always low there, so I shrugged it off after a while. This current Hunt Research Tools thing, though, just feels unfinished.

Clearly, I need to plan something for my New Years Eve….

unfortunate but it’s absolute trash. Filtering is garbage. Difficult to navigate, map view (default) is trash.
Sticking to GoHunt for research
Onx for maps (this is where Onx is great, though I have issues with app lagging and crashing in offline mode on multi day hunts)

Just look on the WGFD website?

I’ve been on it a few times and really dislike it. I refuse to pay for gohunt, it’s too expensive for me. Anyone use Hunters Trailhead for odds or another site?

Onx has partnered with huntin fool now instead of toprut.

OnX bought Toprut from Steve Cordle, a cpl years ago, and HuntinFool used Toprut thru the Onx Elite benefits program. Last year Onx developed their Research Tools as a replacement for Toprut temporarily leaving both options available. Last month they turned off Toprut, leaving their research Tools as the direct replacement. Huntinfool is now using the Onx Research Tools, still thru the Benefits program.

As for those Research Tools, they're shiit. I called and bitched the first morning and suggest all you do the same.

The old TopRut site was great, viewing the state map by point colors was super intuitive (if not always perfectly precise). And having TopRut with OnX Elite was a great value. I like OnX Maps, but I'm going to have to look at GoHunt now because the new Research Tools are garbage. Right at the start of application season too...

I’m trying not to get my knickers in a twist over this, but I am pretty surprised OnX would even release what they have out there right now. And I’m even more surprised the folks at HuntinFool wouldn’t bark back at them since the HF brand is now attached. Think what you want of HF, but that outfit kind of pioneered this space and having this association isn’t gonna help their market perception too much.

The odds and info are all over the place.
For what specifically? I have used it for a variety of tags and the only real problem i have seen is WY reg vs spec. I just went to WGF for that data. But honestly I haven't scrubbed the data with the original source. The service is clearly in the early stages and needs a few improvements.

I was thumbing through some nm odds. They are off. Enough for me to know just by looking that it's not right from memory.
