I always like seeing this thread pop up, along with the "History Found in the Field" thread. I feel like this old shack that I came across on Forest Service land this weekend would count for both. A lot of old coffee cans, etc. from the 50s or 60s were laying around in this one. Some newer plastic items hint that it may have seen some use more recently. Either way, it was cool to see and amazing to me that all of the stuff at this site was hauled up through a good bit of steep country & nasty timber. I do wonder when this place was first built.
