I was out in the field today and thought I would share some pics.

Sweet sunrise in the Breaks

Great fall colors. Digital doesn't quite show how brilliant it really was, but still alright.

This guy had a strange rack. He was a 6X3.

Narrow racked buck.

Too bad this guys rack doesn't match his body size.

Finally some whiteys. Interesting part was that there were also two muleys with this group.

I also saw two pretty good muleys, but they were out of camera range. Probably saw fifty bucks during my 140 mile drive today.

Hopefully that will make tomorrows 8 hours in the office a little easier.

Boy mtmiller, with all the great pics you show really makes me want to see this up close and personal to get the real effects.

Is there a Rifle season that is gonna end all these Buck's days of standing in the middle of open grass?

Yeh Gunner, rifle starts in three weeks. There are plenty of these bucks around, but since we get to shoot the shit out of them throughout the rut, there are not too many that get to 5 or 6 yrs.

Even the smart, older bucks are pretty dumb when they have wood.

Obviously there are some nice bucks in MT, but it is hard for them to hide out in this part of the country.
