How good was buisness.Does it look like a lot of trappers hitting the fields this year with the low projected prices?Anybody give any indications to the market. Its supposed to open down 20% from last years opening numbers with a possible 20% drop coming later.Thats whats projected for my area at least.

Business wasn't bad wasn't great either. People were shopping for deals even more so in this economy. Fortunately the company I work for has a well established reputation. What fur prices are going to do is anybodies guess at this point. But if you're out of work a few bucks here and there helps out. Red fox and Muskrat look like they might be the bright spot this yr. Only time will tell. Right now it looks as if China could be the major user of fur. But if the Russians start buying coon could see some advances there. Wolverine looks like the only item unaffected but they're always in short supply. Good quality wolf skinned for taxidermy too but you have to live somewhere where you can legally trap them. And there ain't many of them places.
