Nothing but opinionated BS

Unfortunately I live in Indiana and it does suck and with ea h passing year it su KS even more...whenever I go West I cry every mile on the way back. Oh and you only witnessed the outskirts of Gary. My previous job I had to go up there and work on equipment. I pulled up on a job and the foreman of the crew warned me to not get out of my truck until a police escort was on site and do not show up before sunrise and leave well before sunset.
Yes the deer hunting is good but unless you own or lease land good luck having a hunting spot. 15-20 years ago I had more places to hunt than I could cover in a couple of seasons. Now I have 2 places one I am fortunate enough that the landowner let's me manage and give permission to whomever I want to hunt it. The other I expect to be told anytime that it is leased out and that I can no longer hunt it. One day my only hunt will probably be out West.

Glad you enjoyed Wisconsin, although you didn't even drive through the best part in my opinion. In defense of Minnesota, you definitely missed the good stuff.

I have never been east of Michigan.......reading this thread doesn't look like I'm missing much. Also, I've never heard of people in Wisconsin hating those from Iowa, it is the people from Illinois, aka FIBS, that we hate so much

Iowans are very hatable people.

They’re like that guy that somehow shows up to the party, eats all the good, drinks all the beer, talks loudly about themselves, and has no idea everyone despises them. They ruin everything
I always likened Iowans to having this odd false sense of superiority. They act as if they are great, when in reality they're mediocre at bet. And Hawkeyes fans? Shit they are SOOOO fun to screw with since they're hyper sensitive about their team.

MT- Definitely the prettiest state on the trip. despite how every Montanan will complain that there's too many people, sure looked like a lot of lonely country could stil be found. It also goes on FOREVER.

I mean it's not Indiana, but to even fain that it is a fraction of the what CO or MT are is ludicrous. I mean maybe it's better than the front range of CO, but that's about it. I'd rather sit all day in traffic on Bozangles soaking the in mountain majesty, able to drive a couple hours in any direction and find wild lands and solitude than live on 100 ac in new england.

Seriously though, so much funny ass chit in that post to even respond to. Sounds like a hell of a trip.

Several guys I went to school with made custom shirts for the homecoming game against Iowa that said HAYDEN FRY SUCK ME DRY.

Just FYI, I ran from Walden Pond to my Wife's work downtown in May... in like 2hours and change... ran

folks need to pump the breaks on Thoreau, dude would be rocking a flat brim and live streaming and selling MntOps if he was alive today

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately... but only like a short walk from home because I'm mommies best boy and she does my laundry and makes me sammies with the crust cut off, Yummy."

Take it back, bully.

you sure can tell it aint hunting season yet lol
OH and I live in Pa we sure do have mountains, almost up to 2600 feet so their

This is also happening in Arkansas except instead of production they'll industrialize it with solar panels kill me.
Seems like there isn't a whole lot a guy can do. The CRP bill just doesn't allocate enough monies to keep the program running.

I know tons of people would love to enroll their marginal ground, but they either can't get in to the program because there isn't enough dollars, or it makes more sense money wise to put it back into production and get marginal yields :(

1.) I could see spending a lot of time in PA & NY exploring public lands and fishing at the very least. The Southern parts of IL, IN & OH are on the list to explore soon as well.

2.) Iowa is an acronym for Idiots Out Wandering About - this is science.

3.) FIBs & Fudgies are the worst.
