MAN HURT IN GANG FIGHT !!!!!!!!
A MAN is in hospital today after suffering serious injuries in a fight with axe-wielding revellers following a camping "festival" in Northern Idaho.
Police said the injuries were not life threatening but the man is still receiving treatment after the attack in camp Thursday afternoon.
Another man was badly injured in the fight between 5pm and 6pm. He has since been released from hospital.
Fed-up residents are now putting together a petition calling on police action.
They claim this is the latest in a number of escalating attacks in the area. People are showing up from all over the Idaho State, Ohio and as far as NY to partake in this event that some say they call a "hunting" party.
A resident of the road, who did not want to be named, said there had been a large cooking festival and the hurt person was apperently wearing some "Corporal" get-up and was heard saying "I like cooking in a Dutch Oven".
She said: "I was shocked because I didn't hear about it anywhere on the news. I've recently moved to the area and thought the place I had come from was bad enough. Maybe I should check out Hunting websites abit more."
Another man called the Police to say there have been a number of similar attacks in the area recently. He said: "What happened on Thursday was quite brutal. It was a frenzied attacked."
"It was over quickly, a ford Escort was obliterated and one of the guys was in a serious way. His leg looked pretty bad. the suit he was wearing was burnt bad !"
Police this week confirmed that following the Cooking "HUNT" festival a fight broke out between a group of men thought to be from the some website community. Officers are now liaising with other borough forces as they believe some of the men involved came from "La~La" land "far far away"....
A police spokeswoman said: "Following the festival at the camp there was an altercation involving a large group of males, apparently from all over, some of whom were armed with axes and other weapons. Some were even armed with skillets, Pre 19 hundred cannons that didn't work as well as dutch ovens.
"Two men received significant injuries, albeit not life-threatening and were taken to hospital. One victim remains in hospital receiving treatment with a spatula still stuck in his rear."
"Police investigation continues and enquiries are being made with other boroughs, as it is believed some persons from outside of Hunttalk.com were involved."
Anyone with information should call Chingford police on 1-888-Stop-the-dressup.
