While I don't love the new non refundable fee I don't see it as that big a deal. I apply for elk, sheep, deer, and antelope that's less then a $20 per animal add on to the existing app fees. If I was only putting in for hard to draw sheep and antelope hunts it would be hard to swallow giving the $65 extra with no real chance of drawing. But add a elk app with decent odds and a deer app with downright good odds and it takes the sting out. I'm in again this year and if I don't draw my Wyoming elk tag this will be the year I switch to archery hunts for antelope in New Mexico.
