NM Coyote/Greywolf endangered list

@Mustangs Rule because the jaguar is the Don of Southwest predators. Let’s put this in Cosa Nostra hierarchy-

Coyotes- Associates, they do low level work and eat anything. Serve a purpose, but get whacked a lot by everybody.
Bears- Soldiers, extortionists who are respected because everyone knows they use brute strength and murder if they are denied payment.
Mountain lions- Capos, command a wide territory. They have an understanding with the soldiers. Anyone who enters must do so at their own peril until the capo accepts or rejects the visitor.
Mexican Wolves- Consigliere, Federally protected. All depredation accusations by man or beast is directed to the consigliere. They go to hearings in D.C. and have a terrific history of dismissed cases.
Jaguars- Don, goes anywhere with impunity, though prefers to be reclusive. Never talks on the phone or gives direct orders; just makes a suggestion.

Pretty good analogy there.

NM is full of liberals. If they do this to coyote hunting in NM what’s next, elk resemble deer (4 legged and brown fur) so no elk hunting ? Don’t put it past them! They are after hunting and guns. NM is full of coyotes, if they ban hunting them the government will be the ones doing all the coyote hunting.
Yes. This stuff is exactly what is coming. In CA, no mountain lions or bobcats may be hunted, and there has never been a shortage either. That’s already the law. CO, NM, and AZ are next. Expect restricted hunting and gun laws coming to a blue state near you.
