I have the same problem, turns out there’s a guy in Ohio with the same first and last name as me that has done copious amounts of dirty deeds. Makes a routine background search to buy a rifle into a 3 hour affair.

There were 5 other students on campus with my name back in college, alone. I'll let you guess how often I get hit with "researching" on background checks.

I remember years ago at the big outdoor show in PA. A suppressor brand was there and the talked about a bill to remove suppressors off the NFA items list. Might be a real good time to consider talking to ones states senators to reintroduce that bill. Probably has a good chance to get turned into law now. I can't remember what it was called but that would positively affect wait times by a million percent

Already done I believe SHUSH act was just introduced.

It's been re-introduced numerous times, although this time it has a chance with the current makeup in DC. Need to get off your butts and have your reps get behind it.

Alots happened in a couple weeks folks said never would. I wouldn't rule it out. It would be icing on the cake though.
I am in the I'll buy a suppressor when I can do so with cash and no fingerprints or forms camp. Until then I have earplugs.

I wouldn't count on the past being reflective of the future. There is also a new EO as of the 7th in reference to the 2nd. I could see it changing honestly.

Not my fastest on the trust. But still better than the first.
