NFA Wait Times

Submitted to ATF of 10/4. Approved 10/22. This is with a trust. Also the second can I got this year. The other was around 2 months wait. The wait doesn’t suck. Right now things will get busy as each major dealer starts to do holiday sales and lots of people jump in line.

Goodluck. Best thing ever. I was next to my brother with who had a rifle with a break when he shot his elk. It was not pleasant even with plugs in. My 338 suppressed is so fun to shoot now.

What can did you go with for your 338?

I finally got around to shooting a bunch this weekend and was pleasantly surprised!

I cut 2 inches off the barrel and had it threaded for the suppressor. I had to work up a new load, which makes sense. I dropped 1.5 grains of powder, and am running 50fps faster than I was unsuppressed with 2 more inches of barrel.

I got the banish 338. It now rides atop my Weatherby 338. I almost went with a different can, but got sucked into the Silencer central bogo last year.
