Is it October yet? This will be my second year hunting... ever. I live in Oregon and last year drew Imnaha unit and well... let's just say I was unsuccessful, but I learned a ton and had a great time.

This year I'm in even better shape and I'm starting to plan which units to put in for. I'm going to focus on units within a few hours. Last year I drove clear across the state for my unit and it was ROUGH! I'm hoping being within 2-3 hours will let me get out and scout the unit a couple of times at least before I hunt it.

Here's to being 49 years old and chasing new dreams every day. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Clear across the state, heck I have to drive 2-3 states over to get to all my hunts. And usually i do the drive in one day as well. Driven 18 hour drives multiple times. with only one stop.
My limit is halfway across the country. Perhaps you meant country?

HA! Maybe once I start having some actual success my threshold will go up.
