18 this morning, bone dry.
Driest/hottest year in 120 of records last year.

Dotti has a bone by the fire, front door open. Hot in here now. LOL
Another load of wood and another due this week. 3 years worth now.

A visit from friends, a HT couple, last week and more goodies. The doggies romped.

New elk habitat project started. Riparian plants/trees. Wild fruit.
Water in NM is gold. I'll plant in March or April.
Lots of elk about. Deer. Antelope.

Have my tools in my shop and brainstorming.
Shelves,cabinets and who to bug about PLT on new laptop.

Bloodwork & video chat with Dr's next month.
Feel great.

Maybe some snow this week.
Life is good.

Had a dusting,but long gone.
Wood in.

Watching my childhood stomping grounds burn.
Took my 1st buck above Eaton Cyn.
The Van Halens lived on Kinaloa Mesa. Gone.
Folks lived in Sierra Madre and Pasadena. Fires burning in both towns on nearby streets.
Sad.

We could sure use a real storm here, just not a firestorm.

Another dusting of snow this morning. 11.
Windy and cold 34 by noon.
Dump run.

Lost the new used freezer yesterday. Dotti was licking at the base...uh oh.
Some quarter thawed stuff, I fit it all in the chest freezer.
Lost the 2 year old pork. Saved the elk, fish and best stuff.

I had 6 big bags of coffee in there. LOL
French roast. Of course.

Trip to albacrackie next week for a new upright. Plenty in stock.
Get the dead one out this weekend.

Ate a chunk of fresh thawed backstrap yesterday, pit fired. Oak & pinion wood.
Dotti & I finished it off with some WI lasagna tonight. Yummy.

Just realized I'll be 70 in April...wow.

Apps for draw tags in for the year. Elk & deer.
Ranch was accepted in E-plus again.

I had just been in there the day before. Fine.

Single digits last week,dry.
16 this morning and the 3" of snow going fast. Soaking in.

Went yesterday for blood work. Left Dotti in her crate.
Results show all markers in the green.
PSA down to .03 now.
1st Testosterone counts. In middle...?

Monday is phone video chat with my Oncologist. Hopeful.

Dotti is getting big. Breaking bones easier.
So fast & crazy.
Crazy girl.

Over smoked bacon in beans with molasas. Corn bread.

20 this morning and it's 52 & windy.
Got a few inches of snow Sat. , mostly gone now.

Dotti asleep next to me post english muffin snack.
Still hates the leash and avoids me when she know I'm going somewhere.
So I reach for the leash and she goes into the cage/crate.
Smart dog.

Had my visit via cell with the DR.
How am I feeling? Great.
Numbers very good. PSA is now .003 and everything else where it should be.
A little hickup with one med and it should be on way this week.
Have a month ahead on all others.

Will chat again in 4 months. Keep going.

Might head into town later in the week and order all new windows. A small fortune but installed and backed up.
Get the last plants for the elk project & seed.

Could start planting before end of month. Now that I know I will be around for a while.
Hard to believe how much steer manure goes for...LOL. Golden.

Forget eggs,poop is gold now too.

Dotti fills half the loveseat now. Getting big.
The down /off lessons picking up.
Full guard dog barks.
Fast. Can catch most rodents and throttles them,then leaves them. Hopefully less wormer.
She catches treats out of the air.
Loves looking out the windows.
Getting into mischief. Destroying cardboard.
Finding socks that went tripping...

Wish we had more moisture. Elk every night for the water.
Someone ate the top of a apple tree in small cage. Need larger cage.

Maybe I'll try getting the old freezer out and new one in tomorrow, now that I passed the Dr. test.
Folks say I'll get a youngster to help and no calls.

Like most things I'll take care of it myself.
I can rely on me & Dotti.

Snow going fast.
Looks like winter is gone. But, it's SW NM.

Been trying to jump thru the hoops to keep one of my meds coming free. Income, e-verify,e-signitures. E-volting. For 2 months.
I went into the big city to pick up what my clinic had and get this e--stuff done on the oncologists end worked out.
The pharmacist met me and handed me the bottle and took me up to the office. Maybe help. Cool.
Price on the bottle,$3350/month. No charge to me.

Got verification the drug company got my end this morning. Just have to wait to see if I meet criteria again.
Thin income margin. Other grants might work.....they have been great for 2 years.
3 month supply delivered to my gate,free.

Next stop was to get for my replacement windows ordered/paid for. Foreman will be here next week to measure and all. Windows next month.
Don't ask how much for 11 windows................

Passed on getting new dryer and on to the nursery for plants & seed. Got plants, seed will be in next week.

Stopped by my mech, and said howdy. We talked trucks and elk. Elk projects.
His son took a 397 bull on their little place last season.

Stopped by branch of my CU and got some cash and wanted the payment to Starlink stopped as it has not worked in 14 months and I can find no way to contact them about this issue. No customer service, no e-mail addy, no number to call.
I waited 2 hrs as the one full time teller had a pc conversation with fraud unit on how to do so......I could not use a RR without him going and unlocking door. My hip and spine started hurting standing in one spot on concrete,for 2 hrs.
I finally said I have to get home, it's 3 hrs away.
There was a line of not happy folks.

Luckily I had picked up 2 full different combo plates from a little ma&pa NM place.

I let Dotti out of her cage and she went thru the contortions and we ate, finally.
Ordered a new(final) American Made American flag. Materials and made, in America.

Buddy called and will be here to help switch to the new freezer Fri.
Been waiting for the "I'll be there/my son will be there" guys for a month.

I did live in the best country there is.
I still do on this 140 acres.

I could go on but now I just hope my SS check comes again.

Been swell being here with other Public Lands Lovers.
