Got this home last week. A word of advice: wait until you shoot a big bull to have one of these done, because I don't know where I'll put the big one when I get him! Hard to tell scale from the photo, but the end of the nose is 52" from the wall, and the top of the antlers are 10' 10" high. The mount is 5' 6" from the bottom of the brisket to the top of the antlers.

Looks good, you're absolutely right about the massive size of an elk shoulder mount. He's from 2007, correct?

So you're saying that's a small one???? Nice looking bull.

I will get mine back in a couple weeks. Now I am nervous I won't have room for it.
 
Looks great Oak. Good thing you got the prelim measurements taken care of, because the Utah bull you shoot on your Expo tag will require a lot more space.
 
Not too shabby. That's the main reason I don't kill big animals aside from being a piss poor hunter . . . no room at the inn. :D
