gross. 3 things I don't like on hunting guns.

I have a new one that they made in WY, and an older one. Hey I am all for new guns. Especially if it attracts new hunters. the more the merrier.
I got new fancy stuff in my safe also. I am not immune to impulse, that looks cool buys. That how I ended up with so many, I have never even shot.
I just think the 507 is non- interesting. thats just me.

There are magazine options. I get it though, a true flush bottom setup is just nice to carry around all day.

IMO their Mark V rifles were beautifue\l to almost too beartiful, their Vanguards are good looking, and now this thing is just flat out UGLY.

Howas/Vanguards are flat bottomed. It's basically a 700 with extra metal on the bottom, though.

If ya'll want REALLY ugly......I sold a guy a Christensen MHR the other day.....just eeeeewwww. Ugly, heavy and all the modular bits? Yeah, you have to buy those extra.... on TOP of the $3300 FFS.

Is it compatible with other Remington 700 footprint products like scope bases? Left hand?

Have to admit I was tempted to stray...but the hankering subsided. The stubby snout craze ended the withdrawals and I was cured....for now anyway.
