Hello everyone ! I am an avid outdoorsman from Georgia that will be moving to the Kalispell area in 2 weeks permanently. I am in the process of purchasing an Insurance Agency in the area and cannot wait to reside in my dream state to live.
I see that I am unable to acquire hunting and fishing permits until 180 days after establishing residency. Are there any options at least as far as fishing is concerned to start right away ? Maybe I would still have to purchase a non resident fishing permit ?
Thanks!
Bob

You can get upland as a NR for a reasonable price as well. Lots of ruffed & blues in the flathead, and you have some roosters a bit to the south.

Welcome to the last best place. Once you get settled stop into F&G regional office and get all your questions answered.

NR bear tags and wolf tags are cheap and OTC as well. I'd 100% grab a bear tag and save a calf or two!

Will you write RV insurance? I am looking for a new company to insure our Airstream that we store in Bozeman.
Sorry I haven’t been on in a while but yes we have excellent RV Insurance.
