Big Fin,

Would you have any interest in adding (in your spare time lol) a forum where we could post general info on GMUs, which might be helpful for people doing out of state hunts to areas they aren't at all familiar with and won't have opportunity to scout.

I wouldn't expect too much in the way of info on where to hunt (heck GPS coordinates might not even help me I'm running so bad), but helpful details like surrounding infrastructure, where to stay, where to gas up, where to (or not) eat when you've had it with freeze dried, that sort of thing. For instance, I found about a bit about Dolores before heading to CO GMUs 71/70 but ended up spending more time 35 miles away in Rico.

I know researching is half of the fun for a lot of guys, but it might give some folks a jumping off point in any case. Anybody think there would be any interest for this sort of thing?

I kind of agree with Oak.
The resources page has all the information a guy should need to get the start he needs.
If you want more help than that, ask someone. You can make some great friends and learn a lot more by dealing directly with someone that's been there and done it already.
