I've been pissin on the ground and rollin in it for three hours now , starting to rub the trees in my yard too !

Congrats on the tag. I don't know anyone that has elk hunted there. But I do know several guys that have deer hunted there.

Last year, they all got deer, but said they saw more elk than deer.......And they see more elk every year.

The genetics are there, and there are obviously some mature bulls in there. Spend some quality time behind some optics and you'll find a honker.

Where's this unit? I have a co-worker that used to word in Caliente, NV and has a bit of knowledge of the country between there and Ely. If the unit's in that area I could try to get some info from him.
