well i agree with you too WH...but they need to be shot...why make the taxpayers pay for them to be put in prison.....a little more capitol punishment might help curtail some of this type of action

I would certainly turn these individuals in, no doubt about it. To say we need to shoot them may be a little harsh, to say they would kill humans is also a stretch. It takes a very demented mind to be able to kill someone in cold blood. JMO.

I would agree much stiffer penalties need to be applied to game offenses than currently are on the books. As time goes on the price of an animal is going up but the penalty is remaining stagnant.

Matt all I'm saying is that somebody who disrespects life as much as this person(s) does could possibly at some time kill a person and think nothing of it. I would say it also takes a very demented mind to kill that many deer for no reason other then the sheer joy of seeing something die.

Theres a bunch of people on this board that wouldnt think twice about killing animals for nothing more than the sheer joy of seeing something die. What you find offensive that in this case its deer...but you wouldnt bat an eye if it was prairie dogs, ground squirrels, coyotes, etc. and you surely wouldnt think those type of people would be capable of killing a person without batting an eye,all because they're shooting varmits...for the sheer joy of killing.

If they are caught they need to be punished in a big way.

I get tired of reading of the Fines they give out on things like this. If your going to access or increase the cost of our Hunting Tags, lets see a real percentage increase in the fines for those that shoot or poach just because they can. States need to recoup the cost of what is being stolen. John
