It provides for the landowner preference, direct management of mule deer and provides fair public hunting opportunity. Just saying, we've observed major changes in landownership the last few years and the changes that have come with it. A similar situation is playing out in the outfitting industry where local family built and operated businesses are now being sold to the highest bidder, per se. These are not locals buying up the industry. Before supporting new proposals, please keep in mind your local outfitter/guide operation may not be local in the future.
