I always keep a mesh hunters orange vest in my pack for bears as well as a way of marking kills in the dark timber. Its fun to listen to a handful of wardens discussing obscure regulations.

Ok, my cousin did this last year. Shot his MT deer and gave most of the meat to a friend of mine. I called a warden I know, he said, "make a copy of the tag and write a signed letter that allows the 2nd individual to poses the game. And if either of the individuals have a problem tell them to call me." The hunter that killed it transported the head and about 1/3 of the meat while the other transported the rest of the carcass (with evidence of sex attached). neither had a problem both were legal and neither had a single problem. Call your local warden and let him or her know what you are doing just to make sure you do it the right way, cant get a ticket for doin what they said!
