Yep..sorry. Even though I'm unemployed for the week, I had very important stuff to tend to.
Fantastic hunt. I'm glad I was a part of it...and even more thankful we don't have to make that hike again tonight! That is definitely a well earned bear. Congrats again!

Must admit, I am too big of a puss to race the distance I know you had to go, especially now that the creek is probably flowing at high cfs. Then, scale up that steep other side, while trying to keep a location on the bear's position. Knowing you are an additional two miles from the truck. Yup, count me as a softie.
Definitely a great bear and a great hunt. Congrats to you and the other bear nuts who hung in there with you.
Any sign of those two silvertips on your other trips into that spot?

Very nice bear, congrats! Way to hang in there.
We saw the big boar again..a little too close to the trail for my comfort.
I saw a different griz on Wednesday night in there..a really dark colored one, right before we made a run on the blackie. He was quite aways from where the silvertips were hanging out.

Well, threw the binos up tonight and found 3 more bears, wish i had another tag One of the three tonight was a shooter for sure. ONly managed to snap a pic of two of the three.
All sorts of bears, just no tags.
I snapped a couple of photos with my youngest daughter and my bear from the other day, just love these pics
