Movie Score Hump Day

Turd of a movie, not even the best version of this song, but this song done right is good.

I agree---on both counts ;) first heard this tune when it was sang by the Sons of the Pioneers and then Frankie Laine, Burl Ives, Cash, Robbins, even the Highwaymen. I think my favorite was either Cash or Robbins. Trivia time: Fetus in Gunsmoke was a good singer and sang in the group called "Sons of the Pioneers" But it is possible that only Happy Myles and I remember them and Happy was only 9;)

And while I am here I have a question for Mr. Ben Lamb. Do you know anyone on the forum who has Springsteen tunes in their vault ? How could this thread go 4 pages without " rhinestone cowboy" from the movie Rhinestone. Springsteen singing, Dolly, as eye candy , and "Rocky" ;) Speaking of "Rocky", didn't they play a tune in that movie also ?

Respectively Submitted for thread consideration.

@noharleyyet's vault of Springsteen classics combines two of his passions: The Boss, and AIDS activism in the 80's.
