This is pretty standard sentiment from the wolf crowd in Colorado. Get to hear em speak like this all the time at CPW Commission meetings. Unfortunately this is also the sentiment of the Gov’s office.

You have to understand how those pro wolf groups make money. One of the best is other people in the west trying to attack wolves in some manner. Even anti wolf conjecture will make people send in money. We are usually our own worst enemies when it comes to making them money.

We are paying their lawyers salaries and the majority of the members of the anti-groups are lawyers. They have nothing at stake by bringing suits against whatever they want, our government will essentially pay their lawyers.

And as we are discussing this right now more wolves, this time from BC, are being introduced to Colorado cattle and wildlife to see if they taste different than Canadian animals.
