If memory serves me correctly you did shoot a bou.....
First, you have to buy way too much Sitka. Then you have to buy way too much mountain house. Then you have to bring a gun that is way too big. Then you have to bring way too many bullets for that gun. Then you have to plan a ten day hunt. Then you have to kill all your bou in the first 12 hours of the first day and try to figure out what to do with the rest of your time. If you can do all that and keep it under $10K....YOU'RE IN!!

This is correct for the 2 out of staters. Me on the other had had no camo or Sitka, 1/2 the gun and 1/2 the shells, one mountain house a day, and i still got closer to my bou then anyone else and shot bigger then 2 of them.

BTW, didn't you end up using twice the number of shells as this out of stater to put your bou down?

Just a question for the caribou gurus. About how long is a caribou from top of the back to the brisket? We're flying out tuesday to kotz. and just wondering for longer shots.
