Had a tough hunt on a CWMU unit in Utah. Almost went home empty on my oil bull moose tag. Got the only bull anyone had seen on the unit in weeks. I am happy to have him. Had fun with my brother and got some great meat.

He had to get his head skylined to see his horns lol. Once he had horns he was legal and that’s all that mattered

Both those last two bulls should be real good eating, yearling moose, kind of like a spike bull elk, nothing better.

That's a real good looking carcass, man I need to draw a moose tag soon. Sweet set-up you have.

Saw this little guy a couple times while elk hunting in WY. Saw more moose than elk. Took this picture as he had his nose to the ground looking for his floozy girlfriend that took off with another bull, or so we surmised. Practically walked a circle around our truck while we were at our cel service spot.

October 20th this cow must have came into heat late cause the two bulls were trying to chase her onto the highway

I get jealous every time I see a complete moose (or elk for that matter) hanging to be butchered. All I remember is multiple trips and praying I would t have a heart attack getting them out.
