Montana season structure proposal 2.0

Stupid question but technically how many deer tags can a resident purchase?

For the record I'm all for R oppurtunity over NR.

That's a lot. I don't really understand the NR vs R argument. Especially when you figure the R population is up 20% in the last decade. (That number is a guess maybe I m way off there).
Resident deer license purchased have been stagnant for 20 yrs, via FWP harvest data.

There is data to show NR are having an impact specifically on mule deer, among other things.

We recognize both groups present problems and we chose to not single 1 group out.

That makes sense. I'm guessing the data shows that NR hunt most during the rut?

But 7 is the most any one person can carry, unless I'm mistaken.
I’m in 3 and I can have 7. I was just being a smartass… You’re not wrong. Does anyone actually shoot 7!!?? Hell no! 🤣 if they lowered it to 3 with One of those being your general tag I’d be fine with that..

That was a nice mule deer in your photo, where’d ya get him? Lol not Montana, surely?

Said in my best Donald Trump voice. “ Because we have some of the finest forked horn mule deer in the world. There’s a lot of people who like our forked horns and they are very very happy with the best forked horns that have ever been seen.”

Dont want to effect anyones vote but he said that in Montana, campaigning, i think.
