I haven`t killed a bull in a few years, although I do make the 2500 mile drive every Sept from NC to MT, so I have had a few year dry spell since my last bull (2014). For the area we hunt, this one was pretty good. I`m guessing 320", but most of you guys know better than I do. The last bull I killed in this area was 302", and this one is significantly larger.

As for the hunt, it was one of those mornings where you fall into the middle of 6 screaming bulls with no shot. I have to strongly assume that there was a hot cow in that patch of timber, but regardless, it was the most insane three hours I`ve ever spent in the woods in 40+ years! Finally after some cow calling, this bull came in behind me, giving me a 30 yard shot.

The photos aren't great, especially the grip and grin, but there was bear scat everywhere and was by myself and rushed the photo with the camera propped on my pack.
