You saw two wolves between bigsandy and box elder you say?
Hard to believe, but i'm not calling you a liar. I've had hutterites on the high-line try to tell me they have seen wolves or had wolves harassing horses. I told them to slow down on the peyote lol!!

They have been sighted down in Colorado. Why is it so hard for you to believe they couldn't wander over south of Havre?

Sweetgrass Hills ranchers have sightings. I suspect a few were de-sighted before it was legal. Bears moving in too. mtmuley

Wolf hunting is on my bucket list. I don't have any specific hunting info for you but the book Wolfer by Carl Niemeyer is a must read to understand wolfs in MT and how they got back there.
