Yup I understand that I just meant that maybe I should’ve just stuck with a general tag. Oh well will try make the most of it. Will be my first time in MT so I’m excited regardless.

I remember hearing of a guy that shot an elk in that unit one year but I'm not sure what year it was.

I had 700-21 as my 2nd choice so I was willing to go there to hunt. It would’ve been my first time going in there.

I’ve read good and bad but definitely more bad. I’ve got the big game combo so I’ll be trying for mule deer too. Basically whatever I can find. I’m not fussy!

I’m not certain but I think the original quota was more than last year too but I could be wrong
