Montana Booner

Just got the report back on the bears in this picture. 13 years on the smaller one and 20 years on the booner. That's unreal that a bear can survive that long in mt.

That is a long time........i've heard of one longer at 24 years in mt and one that an outfitter killed in Idaho that was supposedly 28.............. Based on its teeth, or lack thereof, i know it was pretty damn old

I don't remember the exact number but the old sow that "Fiver" and I killed back in like 1998 was in it's mid 20's. I was 22 at the time and I remember it was older than I was at the time.

I've been around a 19 yr old boar, a 22 yr old and a 29 yr old sow..

Gotta know but how'd they get the both of them so close together and in one piece?
