Montana 481 Antelope ( update. Successful)

I will be hunting rifle hunting Antelope in the unit next week. I have hunted the unit twice before but many years ago ( 9 years ). I have always been in the south or central part of the unit. Anyone that has been out there lately know how the Northern Part of the unit is for Antelope? Like the Chain Buttes and East Indian Buttes BMAs. I know its more breaks and trees and elk country, but are there many antelope hanging out in there?

I can say south of 79 Trail has quite a few good antelope, but they are scattered.

Had a good hunt. A lot less Antelope then last time I had the tag. Hunted all BMA and BLM land. Never seen another hunter.

My two target bucks. Missed the top one on day two. Didn’t compensate enough for the high winds.





Got mine on day 3





Took out a couple coyotes while I was there.


550 yards. No wind that day. It was nice
