Should have told her she drives like she works from homeI watched a lady stuck in her brand new ford bronco today in town. I wanted to stop and explain to her how to put it in 4wd
Wha? Forget a "Documented" license... Just hunt as you like and no worries, it's classified as "Undocumented Hunter".Come to think of it, how many of you guys really want Elon Musk and DOGE knowing which unit you killed your deer in?
I’d definitely recommend stopping hunting and not buying a license….![]()
Why wasn't there any language addressing trespassing to steal sheds attached to this bill? While I dislike that we now need to regulate shed antler hunting as much as anyone on the planet. I dislike the fact we NEED to even worse. It’s a pathetic bunch of ego driven DUCKZ that have ruined it for all. In R6 we have a handful of guys torturing rut worn winter weary mule deer out of Canada so they can pick up a shed antler. It’s a sickness, honestly these ppl need counseling. Same in other R’s, folks with elk antler ego driven puke behavior.
Sign me disgusted
Not certain, perhaps an amendment will be forthcomingWhy wasn't there any language addressing trespassing to steal sheds attached to this bill?
That’s a separate bill. Why wasn't there any language addressing trespassing to steal sheds attached to this bill?

Didn't the $10 shed license for residents get axed?People are losing their minds over this $10 shed hunting license. I hope they put a season for it too and watch people go even more crazy. And I like taking the family out for a few walks in the spring looking for sheds.
It might have. I haven’t been following much of any news the last several days.Didn't the $10 shed license for residents get axed?
Yeah, the shed hunting license for residents would be included with their conservation license. $50 shed hunting license for NR would still apply.Didn't the $10 shed license for residents get axed?
Can it please kill the BS 454 program?Anyone see SB 270?
Apparently - it will eliminate the 3 elk b tag cap and allow unlimited cow tags for landowners/employees.
Seems like a death sentence for all the existing programs landowners have to deal with elk.

The tag numbers arThat's not what the bill does.
It:
1.) lifts the 2 antlerless cap, yes but it directs the agency to create a matrix that scales the issuance of tags based on objective range & desired herd conditions.
2.) caps NR's to no more than 2 elk B if they hold a B10 or elk combo. 1 license if a NR doesn't have a B10 or elk combo. Same as deer.
The concept is about management of elk populations by using licensed hunters rather than kill permits to deal with large overpopulation.
It would likely help in terms of shoulder seasons & getting a reduction in populations in areas that are chronically over objective range & while landowners & their employees could buy licenses, so could everyone else.
The bill essentially manages antlerless elk like antlerless deer in statute. It doesn't give anyone permission to shoot unlimited amounts of elk.
I am not seeing the "overpopulation" on a areas that accept much access. There is no legitimate reason to allow anyone to possess an unlimited amount of B tags. That's not what the bill does.
