I didn’t get anything but my husband got an elk permit. Somewhere new to scout and hunt, should be fun.

Im okay with you passing it along to me? No reason for you to ruin your season by hunting a LE when you would rather hunt general, right. Congratulations to you and your wife

I drew a breaks Mule deer tag.... I know the deer herds have been hit really hard up there. Noting that the tags went from unliminted down to 100, can I feel "okay" with hunting for a mature deer. Or should I just eat the permit and let all of the bucks live?

Beef is a safer bet.

Two of my boys drew the 291 mule deer tag. It’s only a couple hour drive from home so I’m sure we’ll cruise around a bit to familiarize ourselves with the area this summer but if anyone has hunted it recently would appreciate any insights you’d be willing to pass on!
