Arizona just billed the feds for multi millions for housing illegal alien criminals in our prisons. The feds said to shove it. Hurts good, don't it. Buzz, If you ever been to southern AZ you will see the problem. The border patrol is not on the border!! hell you drive back from Nogalas and get pulled over by a check point looking for illigals 10 miles from Tucson!! It would be way cheaper to build a fence the entire border and put the border patrol on the actual border watching the fenc, then you would have an effect, and the cost would be cheaper than the burden on the states health care, prisons, ect.

The current administration in its infinite wisdom wants to cure social security, then turns around and decides they need to broker a deal with Mexico to pay ss to illegal aliens. What did the President say..."family values don't stop at the border". You have an administration that has actually said they will do nothing about it and in fact want it to happen. Bush worries about national security, creates a huge office, spends a bunch of money implementing it and then has an open border policy with Mexico. WTF!!! I wonder how many latin votes he received or how much the Presidente' of Mexico gave him? Putting a bandaid on a broken arm doesn't even make you think it is helping.

I think you should stand out there in the desert for months on end. Boy, in the middle of the desert, people will really take notice! Don't "walk on" the capitol, someone may actually see you. Or are you and your pals affraid not enough people will care? The only way people are noticing your efforts is if you kill someone or one of you gets killed. If one of you gets killed, people are just going to tack it up to another guy being killed by the border. If you kill someone, it will be another wacko vigilante. I can certainly see where this group is "protesting" in an appropriate way. A way that will get the best results! Good Luck...You'll need it!

i had a chance to speak to some border patrol agents at a gun store who were trading in their (wimpy) ar-15's for some bulgarian made ak-47's...they stated that it was so dangerous out there that an ar-15 with 30rd mags was not enough firepower, so they dumped them and got some 75 rd drums for their new aks....
since they have to buy their own partol rifle, they got to choose what they carried..i know i just called the ar-15 (wimpy) and some people will cry over it but i have experience with many different m-16 and ar-15 variants since 1996 when i went into the USMC right out of high school..

Matt i just got off of the phone with a squad leader out of tombstone... he has e`mailed me a very detailed organized plan of operations... On april 1,2,3rd watch your news and you will see more exposure of the minutemen we will rally at Naco and Douglas AZ. Near border patrol check stations... We will be there to show Support for homeland security [border patrol]...We will be protesting the Bush administration`s lack of support/funding for homeland security. on a dry run today 20 minutemen reported illegals crossing near Douglas. they called border patrol and 152 illegals were taken into custody. not bad for a dry run heh?....we will see what happens when the full force of the project goes into effect. By the way the border patrol thanked the minutemen and were very gratefull for their assistance and support. The minutemen are doing their best to get the B.P. [homeland security] more funding , better equipment etc........p.s. if you or anyone is interested there are some [unclassified] documents that i can send you...give me an e`mail... otherwise wait until you see the news.

Sorry Ringer, but, you're wrong. Dubya's policy is due to the fact that he could get elected without being tough on immigration. And you supported him. If this is really the most important issue, then you would have voted differently.
