I don't disagree with the actions but ya can't help but think we're chasing our tail on this one. Considering that simple genetic diversity is a potentially limiting factor, where we can't just go to Mexico for more, they might want to think about spending a little more effort on non-lethal removal, like trap for captive breeding.

Mexican Wolves will still be able to migrate north. The higher elevations along the border aren’t going to be walled nor most washes. I submitted my comments to the AZGF Dept not to change the designation of wolves as is. Wolves shouldn’t be imported into the state nor should management be taken from our F&Ag.
