It's actually recessed into the boulder. Scribe line just had to follow the cut made by a concrete saw and a grinder with a diamond blade.I know you're a perfectionist. Show us how your scribed cut fits up to the boulder.

I was going to make a suggestion to get some of that all purpose rock rod and weld the sheets to the rocks,,,,,,It's actually recessed into the boulder. Scribe line just had to follow the cut made by a concrete saw and a grinder with a diamond blade.
Lol I work within allowable tolerances, nothing more and nothing less.Let's see that fit up, eagle eye
Edit, too late on my comment, carry on

Someone needs to invest in annular cuttersBack in the shop this week getting the last 60 feet of handrail ready. View attachment 279168
Boss sharpens drill bits, so I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. I don't mind getting paid for the extra time. We don't do very much machine shop work.Someone needs to invest in annular cutters
I thought the handrail was a side job you picked up. If the hoss wants to sharpen bits, so be it.Boss sharpens drill bits, so I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. I don't mind getting paid for the extra time. We don't do very much machine shop work.
I do have a side project coming up for a friend. Building 4 ft sides out of angle and expanded metal for his dump trailer and fixing some hinges he bent by not securing the tailgate when he dumped a load.I thought the handrail was a side job you picked up. Carry on!
Sounds painful.fixing some hinges he bent by not securing the tailgate when he dumped a load.
Nice work, as usual. Here's what it looks like when you don't realize your purge line isn't on:

Thankfully just a ferrule so it was easy to cut off and put a new one on. We were tying in a glycol line today, instead of working as a fitter/welder team boss let me do one of the lines by myself and he did the other one. It always gets interesting figuring out how to weld the piece together once all the fittings are on.

Bob, what exactly am I looking at? It seems to be precisely made, but I don't recognize the part
