Of our yearly migration...

Our trio moves north
To the peaks and the snow
We spend the winter at Bluebird
In our Cow Camp chateau

Our little home
Has dogs, moose, and deer
Mice, woodpeckers, and hares
And a fox that steals beer!

We charge up the hills
On skis that can climb
We cook hearty meals
Drink beer and unwind

MrAmmo is a hard-working machine
Building the backcountry biz
He works himself to the bone
But a passion, it is

Shasta craves this place!
She frolics through pow
Shushing long afternoons
And snoozing post chow

Ammo explores every square inch
Of the land, slopes, and trees
Seeking out shedded moose paddles
She lives on her skis

It’s different up here
Than the city down there
With summer heat in its chaos
The traffic smoging the air

Here, it’s quiet and blank
It’s windy and cold
Peaceful and warm
Nuanced and old

We’re safe and sound
But- we’re far from you!
So cut us out for your mantle -
And we’ll be there with your crew!
